Such a fun night! Chef Eddie was an amazing teacher, giving detailed instructions plus individual feedback and recommendations to everyone who attended. He also taught us a ton about soy sauces and how to mix different ingredients together to make the perfect dumpling dipping sauce. And of course all the food was exceptionally delicious. We've already discussed looking for more Chef Eddie classes to attend in the future!

Booked the class Haute Couple's Cuisine - Date Night with Chef Andrea in South Bay & Peninsula (Palo Alto)

I don’t normally leave reviews but we were pretty disappointed by the experience. It seems like we must have had a substitute because the woman leading merely read from a recipe sheet, was severely disorganized, fell way (like 1 hr) behind (even so much that one group had to leave before we even started to actually cook our food at almost 2 hrs into the experience at 8:45), was very controlling even though she had 2 helpers that could have assisted. I think she either was not a trained cook herself or was used to doing this with 8 yo kids. For the price, and more importantly the time you want to spend with your partner, I’d recommend another activity.

Chef Parsati was very accommodating with our dietary restrictions and scheduling (and rescheduling) of the class. The class was conducted in her home. We had a healthy menu with salmon steak, kale salad, and flourless fudge. She taught us how to substitute items and about the health benefits of a lot of ingredients. The food we made was so good! thank you!

We had a most enjoyable cooking experience last night with Chef Lorenzo. He put us to work prepping much of the food and supervised as we cooked. He talked me through how to cook octopus which he brought to the house already cooked purely in the interest of time. I kind of hoped the octopus salad would be the top item for the night. It was. An added feature was that as we dined on the dishes he had us make, he washed the dishes. Wow! Five stars out of five for Chef Lorenzo and his Med. cooking class! Rich in San Leandro

What a terrific experience this was. Eddie was outstanding. I'm a school leader, and I know a good teacher when I see one - Eddie is top notch. He gave clear, kind instructions. Everyone got better in a hurry, and we had fun along the way. He was so thoughtful in the construction of the experience over the course of the evening. Couldn't recommend this experience more highly!

Booked the class Traditional Pork Dumpling Masterclass with Chef Edmund in San Francisco (Hayes Valley)

10/10 this was an amazing class, and I strongly recommend it! Chef Eddie taught us how to prepare the dumpling dough from scratch. This consisted the kneading, the resting, the breaking off pieces, rolling them out, how to stuff and cook them. What I really appreciated what how creative he was in his teaching methods. For demonstration and practice, he had a rough practice dough for us to practice with while our dough was resting. He even had us practice pleating with Playdo, which I thought was brilliant! There was even a little camera to project what his fingers were doing onto a large TV, so that watch either the finesse of the fingers or the larger view. Chef Eddie also made sure to check in on how we were doing, and provided regular and frequent feedback so that we learned how to do everything correctly. And it worked - all the dumplings in our class survived! In addition, he also demonstrated how to braise pork belly (which was delicious), and how to prepare Tang Yuan as a rice-flour dessert variant of the dumpling. Chef Eddie had us try various soy sauces so that we could experience how they vary in flavor an quality, and also explained to us the stories and cultural significance of these dishes. I absolutely loved this class, and if any of my friends express curiosity in how to make dumplings I will immediately direct them to Chef Eddie. If I could take it again, I would!

Oscar, our chef and Oscar his sou chef were ready and waiting for us as we were the only couple to enjoy the vegetarian class. They spent time, energy and knowledge with us in an intimate, personable and patient manner and setting. It was great! We learned, tasted and sipped our way through our time and then enjoyed the meal they and we had prepared. We left with well packed extras and great memories.

Chef Parsati was a great teacher and amazing host! Her kitchen was very clean and the overall atmosphere was very warm and friendly. We were amazed by her experience and expertise of cooking different cuisines. The dishes we made were very easy to follow and she helped guide us throughout the whole process. She even changed the recipes a bit to match our personal tastes! Overall the food was excellent and Chef Parsati was an incredible teacher and great conversationalist. We will definitely be coming back to try her other classes!!!

All I can say is WOW!!! My college son (21) and I had a wonderful experience learning about Indian cooking, spices, how to combine, and how to enjoy. Chef Parsati was so welcoming, full of knowledge and a vast background of all cuisines. My son and I made the exact same meal for my family a few days later and everyone loved it. My husband said "this is the best curry I've had this side of England" I can't wait to make it again for friends and show off my new skills and understanding of Indian cuisine. Chef Parsati's Indian Cooking Techniques class is the second class I have taken from her. As with my first experience, the class was a delight, with easy-to-follow, hands-on instruction provided with informative technical and historic background. Chef Parsati goes out of here way to ensure a warm, comfortable, and accommodating atmosphere, with the class culminating with a lunch of the truly delicious food we prepared. After the first class, I was easily able to prepare every dish presented and have done so repeatedly. I look forward to cooking the the dishes from my second class. Furthermore, as I did with the first class, I also look forward to applying the lessons learned, both in cooking techniques and Indian spices, to other dishes. Chef Parsati's classes were well worth the money, and I recommend them. In fact, Chef Parsati offers yet another class that includes Indian royal chicken/vegetable biriyani. I plan to take that class next.

I did the Ayurveda course from Chef Parsati as a Christmas gift for my mom and she loved it!!! The experience was amazing, all the meals we cooked were so delicious, and we learned so much about the ayurveda cooking from Chef Parsati. I am a full on beginner but I felt comfortable in Chef Parsati's kitchen. The vibes were great and the food. 10/10 experience!

We had a great time, and the tapas and paellas that we were making are something that I can continue to make at home. It was delicious. But more importantly, Chef Daniel is patient and thoughtful. He shares his experience organizing one's kitchen, prepping before cooking, using a knife effectively, and managing the heat during cooking, all of those little things that make up an excellent dish. Something you couldn't get from merely reading and following the recipe. It is about learning great cooking habits and workflow. One tends to want to cook more often if one has a great workflow and process to achieve the desired outcome.
