Booked the class Pizza in the Oven with Chef Mordechai

Chef Motti was amazing - he arrived with everything needed to jump right into the class. We asked for more focus on making the pizzas vs the other recipes, so he brought those delicious dishes already made. The toppings he brought were top-tier - two different tomato sauces he made from fresh tomatoes, homemade bechamel, three cheeses, fresh herbs, sausage, vegetables, etc. We dove in to hands-on sessions where he taught us about making two kinds of dough and forming the pizzas. Then we all learned how to get them in and out of the oven (we used our wood-burning Ooni and the electric one he brought). My husband had been having challenges in our Ooni with the dough sticking to the peel when putting them in the oven and topping falling off when he removed them, and Chef gave him tips on preventing that and recommendations for better tools (I had bought an Ooni brand perforated peel and it didn't get enough of the flour off the bottom). We made sooo many pizzas, so we got a lot of practice, and had leftovers to feed some hungry neighbors later on. It was a fun and relaxing afternoon spent chatting, cooking and eating - our teen boys even enjoyed it. We look forward to finding another excuse to cook with Chef Motti!

A huge thank you to Chef Parsati for such an incredible cooking class experience! Learning how to make both vegetarian and chicken dumplings from scratch was so much fun, but what made it even more special was how much knowledge she shared along the way. Not only did we learn cooking techniques, but she also taught us about the nutritional value of using fresh herbs and ingredients to season the filling naturally. The passion, patience, and care she brought to the experience made it unforgettable. Amazing food, amazing energy, and an amazing teacher — we loved every minute of it and can’t wait to take another class!

It was great experience working with chef Motti to learn how to make pizzas. Chef Motti is well- prepared for the class. He brought many different ingredients for us to make a variety of pizza. He also demonstrated how to use his portable oven to make pizzas within 2 min. I was very impressed by the way he made pizzas, super fast and delicious. Not only demonstrate how to make pizzas and other dishes, he also gave us background of pizzas, such as the origins of pizza flour, the key elements of a good oven for pizza, how to make your own starter for dough, the difference between feast dough and the sour dough. He gave us many opportunities to get hands-on experience to make pizzas on our own. I would certainly recommend chef Motti for his pizza class. It would be a delightful way to learn some good skills.

Chef Mordechai is amazing. My pizza making cooking class with Chef Mordechai was the best cooking class I ever had. The class is fun and very hands on. Chef brought a lot of extra materials for everyone to have plenty to practice and nailed the techniques and everything tasted amazing. Chef also agree to show us how to use my own wood burning pizza oven and share lots of tips. I will definitely recommend this class to everyone!

We had such an awesome class with Chef Moti! He came to our apartment and was so organized with the recipes and needed equipment that we didn't have. The Mediterranean food we made through his guidance SO delicious, truly some of the best med food I've had (and big portions, enough for leftovers :)). He was very accommodating with dietary restrictions, collaborating with me to come up with a menu that worked for our group. He created a fun atmosphere that my family all enjoyed, we shared laughs and stories of life. He taught us cooking techniques that I'm excited to take into our everyday cooking. We had a most enjoyable cooking experience last night with Chef Lorenzo. He put us to work prepping much of the food and supervised as we cooked. He talked me through how to cook octopus which he brought to the house already cooked purely in the interest of time. I kind of hoped the octopus salad would be the top item for the night. It was. Make sure to bring your own wine if you are interested in having some for your event, there is a wine store nearby if you need to make a trip. Will be booking this again for future team events!

We had a great time! Chef Elham opened up her home to us, had all the ingredients ready and provided a nice set up. There were 8 people in the class which made it a lot more fun. Such a great experience. The downside to it (nothing to do with the chef) the app needs to be more clear on the area that you’re booking the class in… And… There needs to be more communication before they take your money. This is legit class and the company is real. The way they book the class makes you feel like it is a scam. Other than that, Chef Elham made it a positive and fun experience.

I booked this experience with Chef James as a Christmas present from our grandma to her granddaughter. She's 11 and is interested in being chef. Chef James was wonderfully inviting and friendly from the moment we all stepped into his home, and enjoyed some cheese, meats, and anchovy stuffed olives. We then helped to cook the risotto, and enjoyed the fruits of our work :) The risotto was amazing, cooked perfectly and so flavorful! We also loved the dolce cake for dessert - it was a wonderful end to the evening. I would recommend this experience to anyone!

Booked the class Asian Fusion Culinary Challenge with Chef Dirk in San Francisco (Mission District)

The Chef was awesome, great personality, very fun and engaging. The group had a good time! However, the venue itself (I believe the chef's home) was quite shocking. There was a mess everywhere. There were non-functioning lights. The space was small but very untidy and felt chaotic. There was also a cat, which for our group was OK, but might affect others if there are allergies for guests, etc. The supplies were mis-matched and it felt disjointed. He had everything mapped and planned out well, but just seemed too casual for a corporate group. I would not suggest this for any type of executive/corporate group - but Ok for a group of friends or family.

Our Executive Team of 11 had a wonderful Italian team building cooking experience with Chef Dirk! He has such a great, upbeat personality that had all of us laughing and engaged. We made a wonderful meal of homemade pasta and sauces, the dessert was fabulous and we really enjoyed our evening. He did a great job of accommodating our 3 food restrictions. I found Chef Joni Sare on Cozymeal and booked her for my team offsite as my 3 other team members found her Master Italian Classics Cooking Class to be a fun learning experience. Boy were we right. If you don't read my full review, all I can say is that Chef Joni was an EXCELLENT instructor and my team members and I had such a good time. We were smiling ear-to-ear the entire time we were there. Highly recommended from this reviewer. Detailed review below: Communication (5/5): We used the Cozymeal platform for everything and found their interface amazing. Chef Joni was very pro-active and communicated with me several times before the event date on January 17, 2020. What stood out about this communication was that she really wanted to know us. She asked good questions like "Why did you choose this class?", "What do you hope to learn from it?", "What are your goals?" etc. Really appreciate this since she can cater the class to exactly your needs. She was also very accommodating when I told her that one of our team members was a vegetarian so she made sure she had a vegetarian option on hand during our class. Finally, before the event, she gave us extremely detailed directions to the location of the event (including a picture) and what to expect. Really outstanding communication here. Location (5/5): Her location is in her house located in Sunnyvale near major highways. Lots of street parking once you arrive so no issues on parking. The inside is well decorated and everything seems to be remodeled including her kitchen which was very modern. See pics to get an idea. Food (5/5): The Master Italian Classics Cooking Class contains the following menu: 1.) Antipasti - Cheese, crackers, almonds, pepper jelly to snack on throughout the whole meal while you are there 2.) Handmade Fettuccine Alfredo 3.) Ragu (Mushrooms, many vegetables) - Our protein was lamb for the meat-eaters and tofu for our vegetarian team member. 4.) Tiramisu - for dessert. I don't want to spoil too much of the class but I'll share some of the highlights for me at least. Preparing the Fettuccine Dough from scratch including folding it, kneading it, was a really fun experience. Also running through the dough through the pasta machine to stretch it and finally cut it into actually the noodles was such a cathartic experience. I'm really happy I got to experience that. The Ragu was so delicious and so healthy at the same time as we barely used any vegetable oil and we put in so many vegetables. Finally, the tiramisu making was actually pretty easy but delicious at the same time. Now that I have been through how to make Tiramisu, I am confident I can make it for a party without issue. Also, if you can't finish all the food you make, Chef Joni gives you take-out boxes to bring home so you can enjoy the food again! Our group also had leftover uncooked fettuccine and we got to take that home. Chef Joni (5/5): Last but not least Chef Joni was an excellent instructor. She was so bubbly and easy to talk to and really put the group at ease very quickly. She was masterful on dividing up certain tasks in the kitchen so we can all participate in the cooking journey and made sure we were doing the steps properly. We asked her so many questions during our time in the class and she happily answered every single one of them without being annoyed. It was nice to finish the class with all of us including Chef Joni eating at the table. Chef Joni's passion for cooking really shines through her class and we had a great time! Our team can't wait to come back. Thank you Chef Joni for a great class.

Our family of 10 had an amazing time celebrating our annual Day After Christmas Surprise! Chef Ziva’s kitchen was ready for our arrival with all the ingredients organized and laid out on Chef’s long, long, long kitchen table. In our fettucini making class, Chef Ziva first demonstrated how to create the dough and then process it through the pasta making machine. Four of us were assigned to this task while the remaining six of our family was divided between making the bruchetta and preparing the creamy mushroom sauce that would be incorporated into the fettucini. Chef Ziva is a natural teacher - knowledgeable, patient, and caring. She made our cooking adventure enjoyable and memorable. Making our meal from scratch was not only a learning experience - it was a lot of fun, especially when we sat down in Chef Ziva’s dining room and shared the fruits of our labor making pasta...from scratch!

Chef David is not only a great chef, he's charismatic and a lot of fun. He knows how to walk the fine line between being playful and casual while also remaining very professional - quite a feat! The meal was absolutely delicious, and we picked up a lot of everyday cooking skills like tips and tricks that will dramatically reduce the time it takes for you to chop vegetables!
